There are restrictive health regulations in force for visitors from countries with endemic yellow fever and cholera. In such cases, the International Certificate of Vaccination is required.

The import of natural products of animal or plant origin is prohibited. The import of vaccinated domestic animals is allowed provided they are duly accompanied with the corresponding certifying documents.
